TigerConnect is a great HIPAA compliant messaging tool that a lot of hospitals and health care providers prefer to use. The good news is that Fox TAS makes it easy to connect and use your TigerConnect account to send messages.
First, you’ll need to make sure you have an account setup at TigerConnect.

Now, to connect your account you must have an API Key and API secret setup in TigerConnect. Next, head to the Admin portal and the System Settings. Then select the TigerConnect Integration tab.
Copy and paste the API key and API secret and then hit Save.

The next step will to be to enable to on the client(s) that you want to send messages. Head to the Message Template area and select the checkbox to send message using secure portal, then select TigerConnect.

When this is selected, the Fox will use the email field to send the TigerConnect messages. So in order to for the message to send via TigerConnect, the contact’s email will have to be registered with a receiving account on TigerConnect. The email in the tas contact must match exactly with the client contact’s TigerConnect account email.
