Some possible reasons a session may be needed are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A client email is received that needs to be manually tracked in Fox for billing reasons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A phone call for a client is answered on a phone outside of the TAS software<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A client has a unique task or request that needs to be billed for<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By default there are a few different types of sessions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"236\" height=\"266\" src=\"https:\/\/support.evs7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1084\" srcset=\"https:\/\/support.evs7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9.png 236w, https:\/\/support.evs7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9-44x50.png 44w, https:\/\/support.evs7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9-53x60.png 53w, https:\/\/support.evs7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/image-9-89x100.png 89w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 236px) 100vw, 236px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, other Session types may be added to this list by an Admin user.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An operator can initiate a new Session by first selecting an account that the Session will be for.
